WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


Are you an Associate with electronic vaporizers? Have at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience with rebuildable devices? If so, and you’ve got a friendly personality, then this might be the perfect job for you. Northfield Vape is currently looking for a results-oriented team player, to come join us as a Fulltime Vape Sales Associate. We’re currently in the process of opening our new and exciting store, and we’re looking for a team player whose got the inside scoop on the newest and hottest devices out there! DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The Vape Sales Associate’s primary objectives will be to greet and interact with customers on a regular basis while performing sales transactions. An important aspect of this role will include educating customers on the store’s selection of vaporizers, e-liquids, and any accessories that accompany such items. Ultimately, it will be the Vape Sales Associate’s priority to ensure each customer’s visit is a pleasant experience. Aside from facilitating the sales and customer service functions, the successful candidate will meet regularly with the Store Manager, to follow up on instructed tasks and assist with other miscellaneous duties.


Core Responsibilities Will Include:


  • Liaising with the Store Manager regularly.
  • Performing cash, debit, or credit transactions.
  • Courteously greeting all customers.
  • Providing accurate product information - such as the unique capabilities of the different classes of vaporizers.
  • Explaining how to set up and operate new devices.
  • Engaging and asking customers questions to uncover their individual needs.
  • Answering telephone inquiries from the public.
  • Initiating loss prevention controls.
  • Assisting the Store Manager with inventory related tasks.
  • Conducting research and staying up to date on the latest devices.
  • Assisting with the store’s marketing.
  • Overseeing housekeeping duties as requested by the Store Manager.
  • Organizing and restocking shelves.
  • Cross-sell other products and accessories.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by going the “extra mile”.
  • Meeting weekly/monthly sales quotas.
  • Ensuring customers whom enter the store of legal age via proper identification procedures.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED


  • Will possess a minimum Grade 12 education or GED.
  • Must be 19 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must have at least 1-2 years of experience  vaping products.
  • Must be competent in troubleshooting device issues.


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS


The Sales Associate will be required to have an intermediate understanding of both, older, and more contemporary vaporizer devices and equipment, various types of e-liquid, and the common accessories which may accompany such products. Because electronic cigarettes and vaporizers have gained popularity at drastic rates, the technologies within such devices have continuedly evolved. Therefore, in order to function efficiently within this role, the incumbent must not only have a firm knowledge of the wide range of device options, but hands-on experience with them as well. As a result, the successful candidate should be able to:


  • Educate customers on the store’s wide range of products and make suitable recommendations based on the customer’s experience with vaporizers.
  • Explain the differences between Convection, Conduction, and Sub-Ohm vaping.
  • Provide knowledgeable and accurate information on the various types of e-liquids, the various brands the store markets, pros and cons of differing VG/PG concentrations, etc.
  • Explain the different nicotine levels in e-liquids and what is most suitable for a customer based on their previous smoking/vaping habits and also their type of vaporizer.
  • Educate patrons on the extensive types and classes of tanks, atomizers/clearomizers/cartomizers, coils and batteries, and any other relevant accessories.
  • Understand and educate customers on the different classes of vaporizers and the unique technologies behind each of them, including but not limited to – VV/VW and Temperature Control Mods, Mechanical Mods, Pen Style or Disposable Vape Pens (starter kits), and RDA's/RTA’s.
  • Explain how to assemble, repair, and maintain atomizers for rebuildable devices.
  • Understand the differences in coil resistance and types – must be able to visually inspect a customer’s device and identify the specific type of coil required for replacement.
  • Efficiently conduct online research for unknown inquiries.
  • Communicate with customers in a simple and clear language in which a beginner user would understand.
  • Keep up to date with the most current legislations and by-laws impacting the vape industry (i.e. Smoke Free Ontario Act 2018, Occupational Health and Safety Act, ESA)
