Our client is a well-known, established and trusted Licenced Insolvency Trustee. They are looking to add a positive and upbeat Licenced Insolvency Trustee to their team that will provide a high level of service, expertise and professional advice to debtor clientele and other stakeholders. In addition to assisting debtors with their financial issues, this Trustee will act as the primary office manager in Kitchener and be responsible for the management of administration staff and file administration duties.

Their team of professionals is made up of Trustees and dedicated staff that care deeply about helping people in tough financial situations and giving them a fresh start!

Are you a licenced Insolvency Trustee with at least 3 years of experience behind you? Do you have experience in and are you interested in people management? If so, you may be a great match!


• Support and promote insolvency services to the community
• Provide required BIA counselling sessions
• Take part in administrative functions including: meeting with potential debtors at various office locations and preparing/reviewing documents for signups
• Resolve technical issues and seeking assistance from fellow Trustees for complex issues
• Ensure statutory deadlines are met for all files under direction
• Preparation of documents to the court for bankruptcy hearings
• Attend court proceedings and actions as needed
• Demonstrate flexibility to the demands of debtors, and Trustees
• Display compassion, communicate effectively and efficiently in all interactions
• Oversee and manage file administration at head office
• Perform HR related duties related to management of head office staff
• Other duties as assigned


• Hold a valid license as a Licensed Insolvency Trustee
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and computer skills
• Experience in administration of insolvency files
• Experience managing staff
• Self motivated
• Though this will be an in office position, willingness to travel within Ontario if required is an asset
• Minimum 3 years of insolvency experience
• Completion of Insolvency Counselor's Qualification course
